Abstract

SUMMARY (154 words)

The Constitution is the text that brings together, unites, and contains the soul of a people. The fruit of an eventful path, it is today in Colombia a central text with a fascinating history and, above all, the hope of a future of peace and reconciliation. Through poetry, the author illustrates some of the articles of the Colombian Constitution, making them resonate with the emotions of every reader, whether legally educated or not. The poetry addresses the human behind the letter, the emotion behind the law, and does so in a style that is direct, vivid, and easy to understand. Starting with the preamble and moving on to rights as important as personal development and the procedure for revising the Constitution, this proposal is a poetic rewriting of an essential text. It invites us to reveal what is most essential in the law, and to read it in a resolutely human and sensitive way.
