Resumo
La Catanica de Páramo (Leptosittaca branickii) Berlepsch & Stolzmann, 1894, ha sido incluida en la lista de especies amenazadas de extinción publicada por el Consejo Internacional para la Preservación de las Aves (Collar & Andrew, 1988).
