Primary care in the healthcare reform of Gustavo Petro Government
Abstract
Primary care is a fundamental cornerstone in any healthcare system, and its strengthening is important to improve the well-being of the general population. The healthcare reform proposed by the Gustavo Petro government in Colombia highlights
the importance of primary care as a strategy to improve equity and access to health services, its quality and the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.
